Important Information
- YOU CANNOT BRING SHOTGUN SHELLS INTO MEXICO.
- 50% DEPOSIT (NON-REFUNDABLE) DUE WITH RESERVATION AND BALANCE (NON-REFUNDABLE) DUE 60 DAYS PRIOR TO HUNT.
- We handle all processing of licenses and gun permits.
- Arrivals after 9:00 a.m. to McAllen, Texas and departures before 4:00 p.m. from McAllen, Texas require special transportation to and from the lodge and will be surcharged accordingly. Ask for quote.
- "Rain Checks" will be issued if hunts are cancelled by Outdoor Destinations Worldwide Inc.

Weather |
The weather during whitewing season is generally very warm; in the mid 90's so dress accordingly. |
|
Field Colors |
Dove "flare" from light or bright colors, consequently it is important to dress in field colors: light green, dark khaki or camouflage. |
|
Slacks |
For shooting, 2 pairs of light weight cotton slacks in fileld colors. Evening temperatures are worn so light cotton is appropriate for dinner. |

Shorts |

Shirts |
For shooting, bring 4 to 6 short-sleeved, light weight cotton shirts in field colors. Bring long-sleeve shirts for sun protection only. |

Footwear |
For shooting, bring light-weight boots with a rigid sole. They should face at least the ankle. Cordura or cordura/leather combinations are great. |

Hat |
Sun protection is a must. For shooting use a wide-brimmed straw, canvas or poplin hat. As an alternative use a poplin baseball style cap. |

Raingear/Eyewear |
Lightweight rainsuit or poncho. |
| Eyewear and Hearing Protection | Stray shot is always possible, so wear protective shooting glasses. Bring hearing protection that you are comfortable with. |

QUAIL/DUCK/GOOSE APPAREL |

Weather |
Weather during our "Winter Season" will average in the 60's. However, frequent cold fronts can drop temperatures close to freezing. |

Clothing |
Outfit for mild temperatures with one set of clothes for cold weather (30 degrees +) in the event of a cold front passes. Orange cap recommended for Quil hunting. |

Bathing Suit |
Bring one. Heated pool and jacuzzi: available at Las Palomas De Loma Colorada. |

Footwear |
Light-weight boots are ideal for quail hunting. They should lace and have rigid soles.Snake chaps/bootsarerecommendedas asafety precaution. Chest waders are required for duck hunters. |
